Accommodation

Accommodations for the International Tsunami Symposium 2025 participants will be available on payment at special rates at different hotels surrounding the venue. In addition to the hotels, a few guest houses of state and central government organizations will be booked to accommodate the student participants at concessional rates.

Field Trip

A field trip to one of the Tsunami Ready villages in Odisha is planned for 15 November 2025. Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha, is approximately 1050 km from Hyderabad and can be reached by a 1 hour 30-minute flight, with an estimated cost of USD 250. From Bhubaneswar, we will travel to the Tsunami Ready village using local transportation, which takes approximately 2 hours to reach the location.
Please note that the field trip is subject to approval from the Odisha provincial administrative authorities.
